Campaign for Inclusive Care Branding

Campaign for Inclusive Care Branding

In 2018, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation started the Campaign for Inclusive Care: a national campaign that ensures that military caregivers are part of their veteran’s medical team. I had the opportunity to work directly with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation team and create a brand and style guide for the campaign.

Project completed while working at Social Driver.

The concept for this logo is to play off of a Venn Diagram to represent that doctors and caregivers are teaming up to improve veteran medical care. The veteran, represented by the star, is always the focus of the team, represented by the circles.

I chose two typefaces for this campaign: Roboto and Roboto Slab. This font family feels serious and modern, which is the combination that we are striving for in this campaign.

Roboto will be used in the logo, headlines, and larger text. Because serifed fonts are easier to read in long-form text, Roboto Slab will be used in paragraphs.

I utilize clean, solid illustrations and icons. The icons will be made up of the three main colors from the brand color palette and incorporate the venn-diagram overlapping style. These icons are designed to stand alone and be used as a part of a pattern.

Social Posts: Brand in Context

These mockups show how the Campaign for Inclusive Care brand will be used. Examples include a long-copy graphic and two variations of an overview graphic with both stand-alone icons as well as an icon pattern.
